MATHS: SIN, TAN, COS - Pythagoras' Theorem,? - gcse maths pythagoras

Is there a mathematical
(sin) = opposite Soh / Adoption
(cos) = adejcent CAH / Adoption
(tanx) = opposite Toa / adjcent

GCSE revision, need help, if you really know the answer, it is not.

You're right

tanx = sinx / cos

Think of the Pythagorean theorem is valid only for triangles

Connect with the hypothesis of the hypotenuse and is well

It also helps to know the unit circle definition of sine, cosine and tangent.
